Well this is one problem we’d all like to have.  Too many people want to get to know us better.

But there is a downside to receiving too many replies to your personal ad.  You may not have time to read/reply to all of them.

If you are overwhelmed by replies, modify your personal ad profile to specify traits a person must have.  If you are looking for someone who loves pets, tell them upfront in your ad.  This will save you from having to weed out the non-pet lovers later.  It will also spare the feelings of non-pet lovers sending you a reply, and then being rejected.

Also if you notice you are receiving responses from a certain type of person you’d rather not attract, tweak your ad to exclude that type.

Start by making a few modifications, then expand in the future if need be.

Remember, it is not the quantity that matters, but the quality.
