How to Succeed at Online Dating

So you’ve decided to try online dating and meet some of the exciting singles on the Internet.

Now you want to maximize your chances of meeting the perfect match for you.  But what’s the best approach to successful online dating?

Here are some online dating tips to get you started down the road to success.

1)  Join more than one dating service.

The more you join, the more responses you’ll receive to your personal ad.

4)  Save time and effort.

Some of the dating services require you to fill out lengthy questionnaires about yourself.  After joining a couple of dating sites, this can become tedious.  Eliminate some of the effort by keeping track of the questions and your responses in a document.

When you are filling out a questionnaire, copy the question, and paste it into a word processing document.  Do the same for your response.  Save the document and keep it handy.

Since a lot of the questions are similar from site to site, you’ll be able to use the same responses over and over again!  When you join other dating sites, just copy and paste your response into the questionnaire.  Voila!  Dating is fun again.

5)  Upload as many photos as possible.

The other reason is because people who pay are more serious about finding that special someone.  Paying members are more likely looking for partners, rather than signing up for the fun of it.  Most services will display whether or not the person is a paying customer.  Look for things like “VIP”, “Silver Member” and “Gold Member”.

But before you pay, join for free and try the service out.  Ensure there are plenty of people who peak your interest, and you like the site.

8)  Set aside time a few times a week for online dating (more if possible).

Set time aside to browse ads, contact people, and respond to people who contact you.  If someone is nice enough to write you, reply right away.  Wouldn’t you rather go out with someone who is organized and courteous, rather than disorganized and rude?  You bet!
