A Foreign Affair - the movie! A thousand fine women and two weeks to pick one. Black & White Films has made a movie about
A Foreign Affair (the Romance Tour and Mail Order Bride company), starring David Arquette, Tim Blake Nelson, and Emily Mortimer. Producer Geert Heetebrij contacted A Foreign Affair with a proposal to produce a docu-drama about the International Introduction industry focusing on the Romance Tours. After doing extensive research on the industry, they concluded that A Foreign Affair was the company they wanted to be associated with for their project. The movie is about two brothers from the heartland of America who decide to search for a foreign wife. In their search they actually employ the services of an International Introduction agency, A Foreign Affair. Actual tour clients and would-be brides of A Foreign Affair (the Romance Tour and Mail Order Bride Company) appear as extras. It was shot during a real St. Petersburg romance tour so the office and social facilities are the real deal. The filming is complete, but the release date has not been set yet. |

| 4/4/03 | Today, USA Interactive completed the acquisition of uDate.com, Inc., a global online personals group based in Derby, England, which provides dating and matchmaking services through www.udate.com and www.kiss.com. |
| 4/1/03 | Forbes Magazine gave JDate a great review! JDate, which is an online Jewish dating service, is very popular with Jewish singles. It's free to post a profile and browse, but $28.50 to contact members. You can get a feel for the site before subscribing by sending a free "tease" to another member. |
| 2/14/03 | Tom and Malena, a Date.com success story, were highlighted on a special Valentine’s Day segment on CNN (a large United States TV News program), which aired live on February 14th.
